Our Projects

Global Education Foundation also runs 67 Balwadis across Mumbai, for the BMC. This project aims to enable the school-readiness of young children. As Balwadis are feeder schools for first-grade enrolments, it is necessary to improve the current Balwadis so that pupils will naturally transfer to the neighbourhood municipal school when they reach the age of six. Studies have shown a significant improvement in cognitive function in young students who have enrolled in Global Foundation-run Balwadis.
